چکیده

This article presents a novel strategy for structural topology optimization considering damage. In engineering practice, structures are typically designed to have certain load-bearing capacity, with minimal material volume or cost. We aim optimize the of structure weight while guaranteeing predefined load softening behavior quasi-brittle materials. Two different strategies presented: fully nonlinear and simplified strategy. The relies on existing damage models, which require iterative solution methods, analysis computation corresponding sensitivities. uses model, computes structure's distribution in only one step, greatly reducing time. accuracy model is controlled by occasional simulations—without sensitivity analysis—to calibrate results.
